My students love BeeReaders!
Everyone gets very excited when it's time to log in, including my reluctant readers. The stories are not translations, and they are rich in vocabulary and idioms. The books are engaging because they reflect the students' culture and customs, and they also give access for students to learn about others culture and customs as well. One of my middle eastern students got so excited when she was reading one of the stories, and it had a character that looked and was dressed as it is customary in their country. Our students come with many backgrounds and the library is vast and full of books that they can relate to, have fun reading, and most importantly learn reading skills that are required for their success."
